CBC helps Plus Pack think out of the box

Plus Pack is among Europe’s leading suppliers of standard aluminium packaging to the food industry. However, in plastic packaging, it’s a relatively small, unknown player. Keen to redress this, but weary of tackling the big guns head-on, Plus Pack decided to focus exclusively on custom-made plastic packaging, typically for premium foods.

Unlike the market for standardised containers, with designer packaging it’s innovation and beauty that count. CBC’s “Irresistible packaging” concept emphasises just these two virtues.

Our strategy was to beat a direct path to customer hearts. A striking, outsized profile brochure on Plus Pack’s design skills, together with a series of offers, was sent to Europe’s leading supermarkets and food manufacturers in a custom-made plastic box. This direct mail was then followed up by a co-ordinated telesales programme.
